Suits for Easter

This is the boys in their suits
Jaimin is our heart breaker

Brian lookin' cool

Trey looking sophisticated.

My ladies men.

Easter baskets

The Easter bunny dropped by our home and left baskets full of candy and church clothes for the kids. (Oh yeah, Brian now knows there is no Easter bunny... which lead to no Santa... which lead to no tooth fairy, lepercons, etc.) Kinda made me sad cause he acted shocked so I asked him if he was sad, but he said no it was okay that he knew now. Madden with his Easter basket
Eighmey with hers (morning hair)

Jaimin loved his suit under his basket

Treys our clown

Brian mouth full of candy

Coloring eggs and egg hunt

My pictures are backwards but we colored eggs of course and then hid them in our house. It was cold by the time we got around the the hunt. We also live in nothing but dirt still so hiding outside is no good.Jaimin finding some in his room.
In the family room. crappy pic.

waiting in the bathroom while we hid them

coloring the 5 dozen eggs

next post has Easter baskets

Egg hunt NOT fun

Well we went to the annual egg hunt in Snowflake at the golf course that Mike told me last year we would never go to again. It stunk horribly. It was windy as heck, way too many kids, and the eggs were either not cooked or squished already.
Waiting for the BIG hunt!

Eighmey and Bryant stayed with me while Mike had the big boys and Tomena helped the babies.

Jaimin was suppose to stay by Logan (Tomena babysits him, far right), but instead Logan ran so flippin' fast we lost him. He was lost just for a few but it sure scared me to death.

The crew walking back to our cars after a very short UN-successful hunt. Needless to say next year we forsure wont go back.

Pinewood Derby

Brian had his first derby. It was fun, he won a few races.
He wanted a zebra truck so I winged it. We waited till the last day to do anything because we are procrastinators. Oh well, at least it rolled.

Brian was proud of his truck and I can see how big he is getting when participates in his scout stuff.

weighing in, it was under weight so we put some weights on it which helped tons.

More pics from zoo

Mandy and Eighmey feeding the giraffes, gross!
Jaimins eyes look crazy.

The white alligator was crawling closer and closer to Eighmey. It was funny cause she was getting scared even though there was glass between them.

All that separated us from some of the animals was the log things behind Trey in this pic. It was crazy cause it seemed like the animals could get out if they wanted.

Feeding the parrots

playing catch up!

For spring break we went to the valley to get away for a couple of days. We went to the wildlife zoo. The kids liked all the animals. We decided we like the Phoenix zoo better, you can get closer to the animals at the wildlife one but all the animals are practically dead. The lion was skinnier than a piece of paper and couldn't hardly stand up, sad. Anyway, here is Brian feeding the parrots. That was the best part I think, they put you in a cage with tons of parrots with tons of apple pieces and they fly on you so they can eat.

Jaimin and Eighmey with the birds

Mandy came and hung out with us seems we never see her anymore.

Family pic (my eyes are closed, hair looks like poo after 5 hours of getting windblown, hot and sweaty)

We took a ride on this log ride. It was fun cause it was the kids 1st water ride. They loved it. It definitely wasn't worth the extra 6 bucks a person though. OUCH!

PIC NIC

Spring break had really great weather. We decided to take hamburgers and hot dogs to the park to BBQ. The kids played with their friends (the Goodwin kids) and rode their bikes all over. It started to get a little windy while we were eating so we had to keep chasing our plates. It was really fun. Eighmey and Bryant are the best of friends and the worst of enemies, almost like they are married

Trey and Mike enjoying great food in the sun.

Beat him or laugh?

That is the question I asked my hubby yesterday on the phone, "should I beat Jaimin or just laugh?"

Let me explain:

5 minutes earlier Jaimin thought he was funny as he copied me when I told him to do something. I kept telling him, he kept copying. Finally I nicely said, "Do you want a spankin'?"

He said, "Do you want a round house kick to the face while I'm wearing these bad boys, forget about it".

Anyone who has seen Napoleon Dynamite knows what he is talking about, but don't say this to your mom when she is serious.

Of course Mike died laughing on the other side of the phone and answered the question "laugh". I was already laughing and Jaimin didn't get in trouble cause he is too dang cute.
